Ashlee Nicole Wentz, professionally known as Ashlee Simpson-Wentz (born Ashley Nicole Simpson on October 3, 1984) is an American pop rock singer-songwriter, and occasional actress. Simpson-Wentz, who is the younger sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson, rose to prominence in mid-2004 through the success of her number-one debut album Autobiography and the accompanying reality series The Ashlee Simpson Show. Simpson-Wentz received widespread criticism when she used a pre-recorded vocal track on Saturday Night Live in October 2004. Following a North American concert tour and a film appearance, Simpson-Wentz released a second number-one album, I Am Me, in October 2005. Her third album, Bittersweet World, was released in April 2008.

Baby 'inspired' Christina Aguilera to write her album

New mum Christina Aguilera has revealed that her newborn son Max has inspired her to write her next album.
On the day of the release of her new DVD set 'Back to Basics: Live and Down Under', the 'Dirty' singer gave a telephonic interview on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show, she also recalled her experience being pregnant.

"It's so weird to watch the [Back to Basics] DVD and know I was pregnant with this little guy in my belly. It's amazing," Usmagazine.com quoted her, as saying.

When she was asked about the influence of her pregnancy experience on her new album, she said that her pregnancy has surely inspired her to record the new album and proved to be a whole new experience for her.

"I'm very excited! I'm so inspired. This whole incredible thing that's taken place in my life, between the pregnancy and the birth....I've got so much in me to write about. This next record, I want to have a lot of fun with it. I've been brainstorming for the last nine months of my pregnancy. This next album will have a whole new me. A different me," she said.
