Thia Megia's Audition Piece on American Idol 10: "Chasing Pavements" by Adele (Video and Lyrics)

Thia Megia, the Filipino-American who so far made it to the second round in the 10th season of American Idol, had a very interesting audition piece. It is the song "Chasing Pavements" by Adele.

I so like her rendition. I thought it was another song. I hope she'll make it to the top 10. She's very talented, eh.

Meanwhile here's the music video and lyrics of the song "Chasing Pavements" by Adele.

"Chasing Pavements" by Adele (Lyrics)

I've made up my mind, don't need to think it over
If I'm wrong I am right, don't need to look no further
This ain't lust, I know this is love

But if I tell the world, I'll never say enough
'Cause it was not said to you
And that's exactly what I need to do if I'd end up with you

Should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements
Even if it leads nowhere?
Or would it be a waste even if I knew my place
Should I leave it there?
Should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements
Even if it leads nowhere?

I build myself up and fly around in circles
Wait then as my heart drops and my back begins to tingle
Finally could this be it?

Should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements
Even if it leads nowhere?
Or would it be a waste even if I knew my place
Should I leave it there?
Should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements
Even if it leads nowhere?

Should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements
Even if it leads nowhere?
Or would it be a waste even if I knew my place
Should I leave it there?
Should I give up or should I just keep on chasing pavements
Should I just keep on chasing pavements?

Should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements
Even if it leads nowhere?
Or would it be a waste even if I knew my place
Should I leave it there?
Should I give up or should I just keep chasing pavements
Even if it leads nowhere?

Britney’s ‘vulgar’ lyrics

Britney Spears album Circus
The song from pop star Britney Spears’s new album Circus has upset parents in Australia as they feel it encourages children to use vulgar language. According to contactmusic.com, the song If You Seek Amy seems harmless on the surface, but some mothers were angry when they heard their children singing the lines. They claim the lyrics spell out ‘F*** me’ and that Spears is courting controversyThey felt as astonished and totally taken aback when they heard their kids walking around the house singing ‘F***’.” It was Britney Spears's song . "I got them the Circus album because little kids are Britney fans, but there was no warning on the album...”
